We are ultra excited about our newest intern at the Cancer Center! We thought we’d introduce you to someone we expect will be a great Music Therapist in the future!
Here’s a short background on our newest addition : Brian Hilderbrand
Brian Hilderbrand is the new music therapy intern at the St. Louis University Cancer Center. He is a student in the music therapy program at Maryville University and is currently in pursuit of his Master’s degree in music therapy. His internship experience has been diverse and includes music therapy programs associated with the St. Louis Psychiatric Rehabilitation Center, Giant Steps of St. Louis, St. Louis Arc, and the Washington University Neurofibromatosis Center. Before attending Maryville University, Brian earned his Bachelor’s degree in Psychology at the University of Missouri-Columbia. He currently works as an in-home caregiver that assists seniors and disabled adults and helps them to maintain their independence. He has been playing the guitar for 11 years and frequently shares his talents with clients that he works with.
